As the Quarter final stage of the National Science and Maths Quiz 2020 approaches, competing schools continued with “Day two” of the One-eighth Stage.

With so much heats and enthusiasm from schools commencing the day two of One-eighth stage, much is expected from competing schools. Following a smooth contest from yesterday, seeing winning schools waiting anxiously for their next opponents, 21 schools are expecting to start the second contest of the One-eighth stage.

We are expected to see Ashanti’s giant Prempeh College and the lads of Accra Academy in this round. Also, almighty St. Augustine College is found in this stage competing against Bompeh SHTS and Techiman SHS.

At the end of day two of the One-eighth stage of the NSMQ, we got to know the Loosing schools and the winning schools.

St. Thomas Aquinas SHS, who were looking for sweet revenge against Prempeh College when they beat them at the 2017 grande final with just two points got disappointed after Prempeh College clashed with them again, this time making a clear statement of dominance. What a taunting memory…..?!

The excitement continued when we witnessed the clash of three ‘Kumericans’ schools battling out to qualify to the next stage; Adu Gyamfi SHS, Anglican SHS and Obuasi SHTS. At the end of the Ashanti Region Derby, Anglican SHS showed their supremacy over their opponents. What a show?!

Also, Accra Academy, Achimota School, St. Augustine’s College, and St. Pope John SHS booking their tickets to the Quarter final stage.
