It’s been decided. The 2020 NBA Finals are set with the West being represented by LA Lakers and the East producing Miami Heat as their champions.
Over the weekend, the Lakers won Game 5 to dispatch the Denver Nuggets, who had an amazing run to the western conference finals this year, as they were an unexpected contender and played admirably till the last quarter.
They beat the LA Clippers with Kawhi Leonard’s side falling below expectations. Although the Lakers proved too strong for them, the Nuggets can hold their heads high for going against one of the best, if not the best.
Miami Heat continued their stupendous form, where all have had no option but to bow to their well-oiled machine. No one never pushed the Heat to a Game 6 and put in performances that eliminated the Milwaukee Bucks, who were postseason favorites, with their MVP Giannis.
However, the Miami Heat kept their consistent form regardless of which opponent they faced in the competition. On Thursday, they take on the Lakers in Game 1 for the title in the last series.
The NBA finals begin on Thursday, 1st October 2020 at 1 am.
